The Secret Wars Brum Crew are on road again after dropping some fresh drawings and paintings at The Big Chill. This weekend we’re off to Bloom Festival. Some top names on the bill including Benga, High Contrast, Roni Size and of course Scratch Perverts. Lots of art and interesting stuff going on all over the weekend, definitely worth a look.
Now I got to find a way of getting there!

From left to right Obenzah, Lady Rinth and Phil Blake laying down some freestyle ink at The Big Dirty Dubstep Night from this Saturday.
Deus, 2pence, Trav and Newzo dropped some dope characters too. Was rammed and such a sick night.
The line up included Rusko, Tes La Rok, Caspa and Clouds to name a few. By that time I couldn’t tell who was on or what but the crowd were going insane with the Funktion 1 system providing the bone shatterin’ bass.
Big up Seeds, 2nd Drop, Markle and all the organisers for sorting out such a savage night.
Off to Germany for Melt! this week, see you there…?

Savage, savage night at the Bigger Than Barry Beach Party at the Rainbow Warehouse in Digbeth.
Central Brum getting another fat beach makeover this summer.
After a few bevs got some drawing on with Trav, Danny, Kosby, Neuso and Agent. Originally a planned sandcastle competition, I forgot what i was going to do so settled for the washed-up ’squid with a puppet on a beach’ theme.

I saw Modeselektor at Fabric last night. Their set was unbelieveable.
I’ll also be seeing them at Melt festival (along with Boys Noize, D.I.M and Sinden, who were there last night too) They have a definite style which you can’t really class in terms of genre; each track is genius yet often extremely different from the last.
Thom York provided vocals for the track ‘The White Flash‘ on their second album ‘Happy Birthday’
