‘We have teamed up with Stolen Space gallery for a special one off event. Its the launch of VNA magazine issue 10 and the Stolen Space Chritsmas group show.

Drinks are supplied by Tiger Beer and Redbull and aswell as the release of some very special screenprints from the Stolen Space team… We will be releasing a limited edition version of the magazine with a screenprinted cover by D*Face.

Its gonna be a great event and a good night. See you there.’

It was cool to see some of the UAL Breakers rockin out today infront of the logo I designed earlier this summer.

The UAL Breakdance Society are running lessons and jam sessions for popping, locking and breaking throught the year.

Museum of Everything

“London’s first ever space for artists and creators living outside our modern society.”

I visited the ‘Museum of Everything’ today with very little knowledge of what to expect and what I would find there.

The museum is a collection of ‘secret creativity by the unknowns of society’, revealed here as ‘drawings, paintings, sculptures and installations, selected by leading contemporary artists, curators and cultural figures’.

The space is both awkward and ‘kooky’ but it adds to the experience. The work of the following ‘Outsider’ Artist’s really stood out for me;

Alexandre P Lobanov

Henry Darger

Guo Fengyi

Hiroyuki Doi

GT Miller

I was really struck by Dellschau’s story and vision. I recommend reading this post from The Victor Mourning Blog which somewhat illustrates why. I think it’s a shame that his work is positioned in the shortest and narrowest corridor of the entire building as it makes viewing the work restricting and a bit of a struggle.

I found many of the artist’s stories revealed here overwhelming at times (especially Henry Darger). From the insane, abused, obsessive, self-taught or disabled, each work displayed has it’s own unique legacy.

I feel respect and understanding for the work here is indeed due and I think it’s great to be able to view work that perhaps was never meant to be ‘viewed’ in such a way; work that could’ve easily been lost, unnoticed or forever remained in secrecy.

I recommend visiting and discovering for yourself.

We have a treat for you!

Whilst in Central London grabbing some lunch with friends we had heard of the Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen Premiere going on in Leicester Square. The thought of catching a glimpse of Megan Fox  was enough to persuade anyone to wait it out for an hour or so.

Luckily I was standing next to Damien Davis, a Freelance Photographer from South Africa who is currently working in London. He took some great snaps of the woman herself and shows how close we actually got!

The crowd went crazy for Megan Fox who dazzled the photographers in a floor-length black dress.

Being the gentleman he is, he has let us feature these two exclusive images of arguably the worlds hottest actress and we are very lucky to have an exclusive interview with Damien too!

I really enjoyed the film itself, having been a fan of Transformers from my youth. I saw it at the IMAX and I guess you know from the previous film what to expect; action, insane CGI and if you ask me a superb Megan Fox acting performance. It seemed there was only a handful of scenes that were ‘full IMAX’ format which was disappointing; these were mostly the CGI heavy action scenes but they were definetly impressive.

Here are some stills from an animation I’m working on called ‘The Cargo Cult’ which is loosely based on the story of John Frum.
My animation is about the people of a small, remote island who suddenly come into contact with new technology and machinery.
The island begins to rapidly develop until it sinks under its own weight and the increasing sea levels due to all the pollution being pumped out.
