Dorrell Merritt

Dorrell Merritt is a London based photographer, focusing on fashion and portraiture. His work  takes a fine art approach and has strong elements of melancholy and sadness, he even chooses to drain away the colour from most of his shots to reflect this.

Commenting on his work, Dorrell says:

 I try to give an emotional insight into the characters in my work, and create narrative based on literature and art, mainly pre 20th century.
