I love this new illustration by Graphic Designer and LCC student Paul Crump.
Check out Paul’s blog here for updates on his latest work.
“This piece of work was for an advertising brief based on the G20 protest. We had to take a ‘for or against’ stand point on the statement: ‘The police were too aggressive towards the protestors’.
I took the ‘against’ stand point and portrayed the protestors as the aggressive people. I showed this through the style of ‘Where’s Wally’ to show that the ‘wallys’ during the protest were the violent protestors just looking for trouble.”
From original line drawing the lines were then screenprinted along with the text. Promarkers were then used for the colour on 180gsm paper.
