Gothic Treatment

I’m obsessed with Gothic and Olde-English style type and after sitting in some old Cornish pubs last week drinking Rattler, I decided to tweak some classic Sherwood and Blackletter type in my own way.

I’m really inspired by some of the modern re-workings of this style of type by other designers and particularly some of the freehand styles as perfected by the likes of Mr. Cartoon.

Check out this Brunnhilde font, a modern looking Gothic typeface which shares the name of a legendary female warrior from Icelandic and German mythology.

Oversize Clothing is a skate/snowboarding project that’s in development…

Stay tuned…!

kclbreakin for web

Here is my first idea for KCL Breakin Crew who want a strong and tough piece of type/artwork to adorn their yellow and black shirts and hoodies.

They wanted to keep the Evolution of Man that they had in there original logo which seems to fit quite well with this. I will post the finished product soon.

Bare with us while we are tweaking the format and making improvements across the site!

Rich.
