Entitled ‘Closer’ and produced by Stephen Street, its an atmospheric blast of anthemic rock music that singles them out as Ones to Watch in 2010. In support of the single release, the band will be playing a series of shows around the country, beginning tomorrow. The dates are:

The tour finishes on December 6th, when the band will head into the studio to begin work on new material.

The band’s album ‘Primary Colours’ was chosen as one of the best twelve albums of the last year by the prize’s panel of judges.

The gig will now take place on June 7th. All original tickets will remain valid and new tickets can be purchased through Seetickets.

The band will return to Mexico for the first time in over a year to play a date on May 23rd in Mexico City. Also added to the list of dates are festival appearances in Germany, Poland, Belgium, Scotland, Ireland and the Isle of Wight. To top it all off, the band will head to Japan to play this year’s Summer Sonic Festival. They’ll be in Tokyo on 8th August and Osaka the day after.

Finally, The Horrors have been confirmed to appear at All Tomorrow’s Parties in Minehead this December. Curated by My Bloody Valentine, the band will appear alongside Sonic Youth, De La Soul and many others.
