The Magic Lantern - Somebody Told Me

Here are some stills from the animation music video for The Magic Lantern's 'Somebody Told Me'.

This was my third time animating and my first ever time using After Effects so was a very difficult process against a very short deadline! The first version of the animation is online now but I hope to rectify several mistakes before releasing the official version (we had to meet a uni deadline so we were very rushed).

Working as a group of six and we had lots of ideas and different styles merging together with some Paul Kidby and 'The Little Prince' references thrown in.

Worked with a fine group of other young illustrators- check out our future work as part of GLASS: Gotlib, Liu and Schwarz, Sheehan.
