Mexico 2009

I went to Cancun, Mexico earlier this year to celebrate a mates birthday. It was during Spring Break and just before all the Swine Flu madness hit the news.

The week consisted of eating and drinking so much until my poo turned green. Here are a couple of sketches and images from the week.

The last 4 images are quick sketches from a while back for an illustrated short-story I have been working on this past year. It's called, 'Jagun Se wa Moonuh'.

The feel and look of the illustrations have changed several times over the year and resemble nothing of what these early ideas show; it's been a struggle!

I have been working hard with invaluable help along the way from Rob Gallagher and Ohtaek Kwon to get this project up and running and I can't wait to unveil some more details about the project soon.

Thanks to Paul Crump for the images of Chichen Itza.

    Rich.

Check out this hand-made deck of playing cards designed by Paul Crump. I love this new illustration by Graphic Designer and LCC student Paul Crump.
