Drop Beats Not Bombs was big!!! The Rainbow got it perfect with several packed rooms, including Adderly St. being closed for the partying to spill out into the streets. The railway arches hosted a converted double-decker bus parked up blasting the music and ‘In A City Arts’ supplying some heavy characters for the backdrop.
The Rainbow Yard hosted ‘Secret Wars meets Scratch Club’. Several artists took to the freshly painted walls, dropping some doodles and drawings in a team-style format.
The likes of ‘Newso’, ‘Trav’, ‘Philth’ and ‘Kung Fo’ tearing up the one side and ‘N4T4′, ‘Goon’, ‘Obenzah’, ‘Sol1r’, ‘Lady Rinth’ and ‘Jake Illustration’ on the other. Big up Redbeard and SK for supplying some dope music to drink and draw to!
Props to all the other artists, dj’s and Seeds and Sloba at the Rainbow for making it a top night.
